What’s remarkable about life in 21st century America is how some embrace science to the extreme and others are utterly dismissive. Take Jamie Coots, star of National Geographic's Snake Salvation, after being bitten by a venomous snake he'd rather die than accept the miracle of modern medicine. I think he could have had his cake and eaten it but he didn't.
